This is it!!
We are so excited to start this new blog for girls who love sports. Whether you love to play sports or are just a huge sports fan, we hope you will come back and take a look at our content and book lists. Over the next months we will be adding stories about girls in sports, book lists, and interviews with authors who write sports books about girls. ReplyDeleteCongrats for your new blog for Books about Sporty Girls. My novel (not yet published) UBER-PETRA is about 17 years old Petra from Germany who plays soccer in her high school in NYC. About 8% of the novel is about girls soccer. In order to make it realistic I did research about girls soccer, read some soccer books for teens and watch movies about girls soccer, all mentioned in my novel. From all the books and the movies, the best (for me) is BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM. You might want to expand your blog to "Sporty Girl Books and Films." Best wishes, Stacey and Kristin, with your new blog.
